ÁRRAN 360°
Premiering at Venice Biennale in 2022, six unique Sami filmmakers from all over Sápmi were selected to create new works for ÁRRAN 360° presented on a 360 degree screen. Together, they made visible the willingness to explore and investigate new mediums for Sami storytelling, and stood for cinematic and digital pioneering work. The 360-degree format has previously been primarily used as a visual technique, and to a small extent has been tested in the development of story-driven films with a clear narrative. Six new films from six Sami filmmakers, shot with a unique camera rig consisting of six cameras presented on a 360 degree screen at NANT Studios in Docklands.
