A selection of shorts curated by Heperi Mita and Awanui Simich-Pene from Aotearoa. This is a play on the proverb "Ahakoa he iti he pounamu" - which literally translates to "Although it is small, it is precious" (pounamu is the Māori word for jade which constitutes the majority of Māori jewelry)
